The Netherlands
Riding through the crisis together
Instituut Archimedes, part of the Education faculty of Hogeschool Utrecht, Netherlands, faced a crisis. It promised raises to twelve staff members and then had a sudden funding shortfall. Difficult decisions had to be made. Would denial of the raises lead to a mass walk-out by the staff? But, in the end the crisis led to higher levels of mutual trust. Read more here.

International conference on Sociocracy
The first three-day international conference in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory (Canada), was a major milestone that marks the international growth of the sociocratic circle-organization method (SCM). For those who didn’t attend: the conferences are still online! Read more here.

Green award for car sharing organization
Last September, the Dutch Minister of the Environment awarded Henry Mentink a “sustainable government decoration” for Wheels4all, a car sharing initiative. This organization uses SCM. Read more here.

The Graduates
